What is Software Maintenance?
Software Maintenance provides access to technical support, software updates, and the latest available versions of licensed TrichoLAB software.
✅ What does Software Maintenance include?
During the active maintenance period, TrichoLAB can:
diagnose software problems remotely,
repair or reinstall the software,
provide bug fixes or temporary solutions,
update the software to the latest available version,
recommend hardware or IT configuration changes when necessary.
📅 How long is it valid?
The standard Software Maintenance period is valid for one year from the date the product is received or the software is first installed, whichever comes first.
The maintenance period can be extended by purchasing a renewal from TrichoLAB.
💻 What if the problem is caused by the computer or IT network?
If the issue is caused by the Client’s computer, firewall, antivirus software, user permissions, or local IT infrastructure, TrichoLAB can provide recommendations on how to resolve it.
The Client or their IT administrator is responsible for making the required changes.
⬆️ Software updates
Active Software Maintenance includes access to the newest released versions of the licensed software.
Updates may include improved or optimized algorithms, so some statistical results may differ from those generated by older software versions.
💾 Backups and data protection
If the Secure Network & Backup Maintenance extension is not active, the Client is responsible for backing up patient and examination data.
In the event of computer or storage failure, TrichoLAB may only be able to restore the software in its standard configuration, without patient data.
