The following online training is intended for doctors, nurses and medical photographers who intend to use TrichoLAB Space for trichoscopy examinations in hair clinic or dermatology practice.

🧐 Why is finding the same spot on the patient's scalp important?
Small changes in camera position — even by 1–2 cm — can significantly affect the results, with differences reaching over 20%, as shown in the video below. For accurate treatment monitoring, it's essential to compare exactly the same area each time. The Spot Template, combined with Virtual Tattoo technology, makes this possible by guiding the camera to the precise position. This ensures reliable and consistent data across follow-ups.

Once you have selected the areas you want to photograph, it is time to take pictures. Depending on whether your patient has short or long hair, you should select a different icon (upper right corner of the window with the view of the current photo)
When taking each picture, remember to select the appropriate option.
IMPORTANT: Wrong selection, e.g. choosing parted hair and taking a photo of short hair, may result in incorrect results/statistics.
