Open Mode in TrichoLAB Space

Why and how to use it

Written by Sebastian Boczkowski

Open Mode is a flexible feature included with your Space Platform subscription that lets you capture clinical and trichoscopy photos freely without fixed protocols. With Open Mode, you decide which photos to take and when to take them.

Follow these simple steps to perform an examination in Open Mode, but before you go, please remember:

Hair Parting Quality❗

Clear and precise hair parting is essential for an accurate evaluation. Always make sure the hair is neatly parted so the scalp and hair roots are fully visible, without stray hairs blocking the lens. For detailed guidelines and best practices on photo quality, please refer to this article.
