We’ve rolled out a new version of Transplanner 3D packed with improvements to usability, realism, and system stability. Here's what’s new:

🦾 New Features & Improvements

🔷Auto Mode for Trichoscopy

🔹Experience true plug-and-play scanning: Auto Mode instantly select the optimal imaging setup—Parting or Clipped—so you never have to fumble through menus or remember which mode to choose.

🔹Precision Focus with a Slimmer Field of View
The field of view is now intentionally narrower, homing in on the central parting line so you capture only what matters. This targeted framing cuts out visual noise, helping you achieve a cleaner, more consistent parting every time.

🔹Real-Time Framing That Follows You
As the software detects hair partings, the frame dynamically adjusts—no more tedious up-and-down camera movements. Your hands stay steady, your workflow stays smooth, and your images stay centered.

With Auto Mode, trichoscopy becomes faster, simpler, and more reliable—freeing you to focus on what you do best.

🔷 Hairline Improvements

Transform every restoration plan with hairlines that breathe and flow like the real thing.

  • Natural, Randomized Contours
Our algorithm generates a unique, non-linear outline with subtle peaks and valleys, so each hairline border looks genuinely irregular—just like natural growth.

  • Precision Graft & Height Control
An intuitive slider lets you set the exact number of grafts and adjust hairline height on the fly. Need a slightly higher curve or a lower widow’s peak? You’re just a few click away.

  • Macro Variance + Micro Detail
You can add extra points along the hairline to introduce broad, natural-looking irregularities — so every millimeter feels intenational. You can quikcly move and adjust.

With these enhancements, designing a hairline isn’t just a technical step—it’s an artistic collaboration between your expertise and our cutting-edge rendering.

🔷Real-Time Device Status Icons

Keep every scan on track with our new top-menu hardware indicators—no more guessing if your scanner is ready.

  • At-a-Glance Connectivity
Color-coded icons let you see the status of each connected device the moment you log in:

    • 🔵 Blue = Scanner online and ready (“Space” is ready to fly)

    • 🟡 Yellow = Need connection

    • 🔴 Red = Needs attention

  • Zero-Surprise Workflow
Gone are the frustrating moments when you start a trichoscopy only to discover the Scanner dropped offline. Now you know before your patient even arrives.

  • Peace of Mind Built In
Whether you’re a busy clinic or a first-time user, these straightforward icons mean you can focus on diagnosis—never on cables.

🔷Letter Format Reports for 3D

Added support for Letter-size (8½×11″) reports for users in the US.

⚙️ Calculation & UI Updates

🔷 Unified Calculations & Remaining Density Slider

Say goodbye to clunky presets and split-second wait times—our revamped calculation engine and flexible slider put you in full control of donor planning.

  • Streamlined calculations
We’ve streamlined out the old single/double/triple breakdown and synced every graft calculation between Local Processing (trichoscopy) and Transplanner 3D. The outcome? Near-instantaneous updatesof statistcs whenever you tweak your plan—no more waiting for the numbers to catch up.

  • “Remaining Density” Slider
Ditch the rigid 100%, 70%, 50%, 30% buttons (though you can still bring them back via Settings). Now, a continuous slider lets you dial in any remaining density—85%, 40%, or even go full-harvest for testing scenarios. You decide.

  • Dynamic Maximums & No More Error Pop-Ups
Hate getting that “can’t reach 30% remaining” alert? We do, too. Our slider now automatically extends its maximum if your calculated density exceeds the limit—whether it’s the system’s default cap or a custom max you’ve set. All you see is the new value in real time; no interruptions, no frustrations.

  • Showcase Every Scenario
Want to demonstrate a worst-case harvest or explore “what if” with extreme densities? The flexible slider makes it effortless—simply drag to your desired percentage and let your patient see every possible outcome.

With unified math under the hood and a truly flexible Remaining Density Slider in the UI, planning donor zones has never been this fast, intuitive, or powerful.

🔷 Terminal-Hair-Only Mode

Take your donor planning to the next level with an advanced filter that counts only robust terminal hairs—no more “fluff” in your numbers.

  • Pure Terminal Calculations
When enabled, every density, coverage, and graft-count metric in 3D is computed exclusively from hairs above your chosen diameter threshold—vellus and intermediate fibers are excluded.

  • Custom Threshold Control
In Settings → Calculation, slide or enter your terminal-hair cutoff (e.g. ≥ 40 µm) to define exactly which hairs qualify.

  • Conservative, Realistic Estimates
Because you’re filtering out finer hairs, all displayed densities and coverages will read lower—giving you a safe, “worst-case” snapshot of transplant potential.

  • Enhanced Visual Impact vs. Donor Coverage Trade-Off
By counting only terminal hairs, the average graft diameter rises—often yielding a better visual result on the recipient thanks to thicker hairs—while donor total coverage decrease, clearly illustrating the trade-off.

  • Effortless Toggle
Switch between inclusive and terminal-only modes any time, with zero impact on your workflow—just flip the toggle and watch the numbers update instantly.

Plan with precision: calculate grafts based solely on the hair that matters most.

🔷Compare View Zoom & Pan

  • Zoom Now Available!
Inspect every detail with pinch-to-zoom controls in Compare View.

  • Synchronized Zoom & Pan
Keep baseline and follow-up images perfectly aligned—move or zoom one, and the other follows.

  • Full-View Mode
Expand either image to full resolution for side-by-side deep dives.

  • Image Download
Snap and export high-res comparisons with a single click.
