We’ve released a new version of TrichoLAB Space and 3D Transplanner, focused on more realistic 3D visualization, a more professional patient presentation experience, and improved overall performance.

New Features & Improvements

More Realistic Hair Visualization in Transplanner 3D

Transplanner 3D now creates a more natural and personalized visualization of the patient’s hair by using dynamic information from trichoscopy examinations.

Instead of presenting hair with a uniform look, the software now reflects differences in hair thickness and density across different scalp regions. For example, if trichoscopy shows thinner hair on the vertex and thicker hair in the occipital area, this difference is now represented in the 3D visualization. These way working on real data is so important.

This makes the final image feel more realistic, more patient-specific, and closer to what is actually measured during the examination.


Background Removal After Trichoscopy Examinations

This release also adds the possibility to run background removal after trichoscopy examinations.

This helps create cleaner and more professional-looking results before they are shown to the patient.

Please note: using an NVIDIA graphics card can significantly improve the speed of the background removal process.


Performance and Responsiveness Improvements

This release also includes multiple performance improvements across the software.

The application should now open faster and feel more responsive during daily use. We have also improved several internal processes to make the workflow smoother and more stable, especially when working with 3D Transplanner and image-processing features.
